£44,000 Plus Bonus OTE £60,000

Job description

We have an amazing opportunity for a Aftersales Van Operations Manager to join the team at our flagship dealership in Stockport.

This is a full time role working Monday to Friday - 8am - 6pm and Saturdays - 8.30am - 12.30pm on a rota basis.

Salary £44,000 plus OTE up to £60,000

Reporting to the Dealer Principle and Group Operations Manager your key objective will be to manage the Van Franchise from an Aftersales perspective through the day to day operations of the Van team on site and at roadside.

Your primary motivation will be to create and lead a customer centric team, that drives performance through customer experience and satisfaction.

Your key role will be to oversee the Service Advisors, and everything front of house including the management of customer arrival, parking, drive through lanes, Customer lounge and digital check in. Maximising profitability through reviewing retail and warranty labour hours sold.

You will:

  • Assist the Service Advisors as and when required, effectively dealing with any customer issues or complaints.
  • Be responsible for the upselling of retention products via your team.
  • Proactively use the manufacturer led technology to provide customers with a digital journey.
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the workshop, in order that the department meets its targets and the company objectives. Managing the workshop loading programme, maintaining steady workflow through the workshop and keeping good customer relations at all times. There will also be a focus on ensuring correct health and safety standards and procedures are followed.
  • Liaise closely with the Front of house and Workshop Senior Experience Partners to ensure jobs are completed as the customer requires and that the customer is always kept informed about the progress and completion or delays.

You will be:

  • Experienced within the automotive industry.
  • Knowledgeable and have a good understanding of a service department and its KPI's and accounts.
  • Motivated with a proactive approach to customer service.

A full clean UK driving licence is required
